About Us

About Food & Care Coalition

Utah County's most comprehensive resource center — providing meals, shelter, dental care, mental health services, and housing support since 1988.

Who We Are

One building. Every service a person in crisis needs.

Food & Care Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Provo, Utah, founded in 1988 when local religious leaders, public officials, and concerned citizens came together to address the lack of homeless services in Utah County. What started as a small soup kitchen has grown into the county's most comprehensive resource center.

Today, our 36,000-square-foot facility serves as a single point of access for meals, emergency shelter, a full dental clinic, licensed mental health counseling, case management, job readiness programs, and permanent supportive housing. We call the people we serve "patrons" — because everyone who walks through our doors deserves dignity.
