Education Programs
Knowledge That Opens Doors
Free, periodic courses for Food & Care Coalition patrons — covering financial literacy, life skills, employment readiness, and personal development. Delivered by our team and trusted community partners.
Learning at the Coalition
Education That Meets You Where You Are
Since 1998, Food & Care Coalition has offered a classroom and computer lab at our Provo campus. What began as a place to write resumes and complete job applications has grown into a space where patrons take structured courses, work with coaches, and develop skills that carry beyond our doors.
Our education programs are informal and non-judgmental — no prerequisites, no grades, no pressure. We partner with Utah Valley University, Wasatch Mental Health, My Story Matters, and the Utah Health Department to bring qualified instructors on-site so patrons can learn without navigating transportation or bureaucracy.

How to Join a Course
Walk In or Ask a Staff Member
No registration, application, or referral needed. Let any staff member or case manager know you're interested in education programs and they'll connect you with the current schedule.
Check the Current Schedule
Courses run on a rotating schedule depending on partner availability. Our team posts the current course calendar on-site and case managers are always up to date on what's coming next.
Show Up and Learn
All courses are free and open to day patrons and housing residents. There's no attendance requirement — come for one session or stay for the whole course.
